I got an e mail from Abe who had a bunch of great questions. Not only does he have great work but he is a really great guy.

What I love about having people on the skype line is we come up with full on marketing plans for photography. Half way through this video we start to discuss how abe can market himself for his style of work.

Try to take what I said and translate it into what you like to shoot.

Canon just announced the 1D X FULL frame 18 Megapixel, Hi-ISO shooting, 12 FPS Snapping, 1080 24FPS and 720 60FPS BEAST.

This camera has so many new or reworked features from the image sensor itself to new buttons and an fully reworked autofocus system.

You will see in the video below my thoughts on this camera as well as what the new key features are. I hope to get my hands on one of these at PPE11 next week so I can try out some of the new features for myself.

The one downside to this camera that I see is the current price point of $6,800 that is just way up there compared to where the Mark III was but not as much as the 1Ds series.

This is Adam and my RAW edit of this weeks RAW file.

At first I was not happy with my edit but after living with it for a while I thought it worked out very well. Adams edits also worked out very well.

This file had so many angles that people could take and I know they have taken them as you can see in the forum.

So many people take photos with their Apple Iphones and now with the release of IOS5 and the Iphone 4s we have some new features.

We can now take a photo by pressing the + button just like we would with a regular camera.

In this video I talk about how to hold the camera for maximum stability along with how to cheat the metering system to change the photos exposure.

For this weeks RAW Edit of the WEEK 49 I thought it was time to bring out a good old landscape as it has been a long while since we have had one of those. But I also thought it would be fun to put up the polaroid shots from Adam and my 5 min portrait polaroid edition.

I had the pleasure of hosting one of Zack Arias's amazing OneLight workshops and I have to say I learned so much. What is amazing about his workshops is how much attention everyone who attends receives. There is no question left unasked and there is no time limit put on learning.

Zack broke down how easy it can be to start with OneLight, a stand and a modifier (umbrella, softbox, etx) and get amazing flash photos. He uses real world examples and breaks everything down in such a way that even the very beginner photographer will understand.
